All Around Complex Fracture Treatment and Joint Replacement in Hand Surgery

Course objectives
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Recognize complex distal radius fractures and identify their treatment.
- Understand the classification of complex metacarpal fractures and how these should be fixed.
- Recognize malunions in distal radius and metacarpal fractures and their treatment.
- Conduct a PIP arthroplasty for both primary reconstruction and post trauma.
- Understand the surgical technique of ulna shortening and ulna head replacement.

(The course fee comprises all course costs, shuttle from the hotel to the course venue, coffee breaks, and lunches on all course days. A get-together dinner with the faculty on 1st day and an official course dinner on the 2nd course day, including the shuttle (Mühlheim) are also included.)
