The international expert group consisting of Dr. Jan Ragnar Haugstvedt (Moss, NO), Dr. Antti Launonen (Tampere, FI), Dr. Lauri Lindros und Dr. Minna Lappalainen (both Kuopio, FI) and Dr. Stephan Schindele (Zurich, CH) reflected on innovative therapies, detailed pre-op planning as well as individually manufactured osteosynthesis materials showing many clinical examples attracting 120 interested attendees. This goes along with one of the important BIRG missions aiming for recognizing, evaluating and setting new trends for hand surgery with a clear focus on the added value and the benefit for the patient.
