Research

The research department is responsible for research work of the group and is engaged in new and existing concepts and treatment methods. The goal is to integrate the scientific knowledge of research into the practice-oriented treatment methods. Besides the development of new treatments, improvements of already existing treatments are also involved.

For this reason the BIRG offers a platform where projects are supported in an experienced and research-oriented group. In cooperation with the industry emerges therefore solutions on behalf of the patients develop.

Goals

“Development and Testing of new Hand Surgical Treatments”

The goal of the research department is to carry out practice-oriented research for hand surgery to offer patient specific solutions. In this process, the treatment methods should be improved and newly developed. Therefore, this small and flexible organization is able to dynamically carry out research projects.
